Our Collections
The Drummond Public Library is a small town library in Drummond Wisconsin in northern Wisconsin.
The Drummond Public Library is a part of the Northern Waters Library System and uses Northern Waters Library Network Online Catalog which serves the whole of northern Wisconsin and gives us access to the materials of almost 30 libraries.
Even though the Drummond Public Library is one of the smallest libraries in the system,
patrons have access to the collections of all of the libraries, including the largest libraries, and can have materials delivered within days!
Books
The Drummond Library recently purged a number of books during the Covid-19 shut down. We were not able to circulate books but we did put those books out for our free book “sale” and gave them right back to the community. That was over 600 books back in to the community.
We specialize in popular fiction, especially murder/mystery/suspense, but there is something for everyone. We have a well rounded collection of nonfiction for both adults and youth.
We have started to expand our Young Adult and Graphic Novel Sections.
Many guide books pertaining to the area have been added over the years. If you need to identify that odd bird in the swamp, or possibly edible mushroom you can find a guide book to help you here.
Audiobooks
Several donations have allowed us to greatly enhance our collection of books on CD for both adults and youth. There is everything from Dr. Seuss to James Patterson on the shelf. Recently we’ve added a beginner reader on audio cd. Just like you loved your records and book collection.
Come take a look and we are sure you will find something of interest to you.
Movies
We have a growing collection of movies on DVD and some BluRay. Our collection has gotten so large over the years we have had to phase out our VHS.
Many of the top box office hits are available, as well as old classics.
We were able to add all of the Disney classic titles in DVD using donations from the Friends of the Library, so we have something for everyone.
